Patricia Melzer
Treasurer

Patricia makes textiles for use in life. Primarily working in hand weaving and knitting, she has a particular affinity for fibers that come from sheep, goats and caterpillars. Approaching life experiences as puzzles to be solved is a lifelong persuasion for her, as evidenced by her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Westminster College (PA), an MD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, and a pediatric residency at the University of Chicago. Patricia plays oboe in the Northport Community Band and in the living room when no one else is around.

Phillip Peckham
Secretary

Phillip, born in Michigan, now resides in Barcelona, Spain. He graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in Advertising but eventually decided he'd had enough of selling people things they don’t need and moved to NYC to learn something new. He's since started his own company, Qeep Goods, a sustainability-focused brand that makes high quality products out of innovative materials that people can use without feeling bad. He enjoys learning languages and loves books and ideas almost as much as he loves his dog Hera. Spain suits him well; good food, a vibrant culture, and it is near his primary source of raw material, cork from Portugal.
